Beniamino Gigli, tenor
Although these recordings are rather old, this LP remained in the cataloguie for many years - this is because of the sheer beauty of the voice of this Great Tenor. Gigli was later than Caruso and the voice was more lyrical than Caruso. This LP shows off his voice to perfection. The recordings are with various orchestras and conductors and the sound is often very dated but don't let that put you off. Gigli's mastery of singing will instantly captivate you and his delivery of each item is nothing short of perfection. Of special note is Nadir's Serenade from Bizet's 'Pearl Fishers'. Although many of the arias will be familiar, there are a few items which might be new.

To avoid any dispute buyers should be aware that they buy our vinyl with the above proviso in mind.
