Richard Wagner
Tannhäuser
Lied an den Abendstern
Hermann Prey, baritone
Berliner Symphoniker
Horst Stein
Hermann Prey's voice is perfectly suited to the role of Wolfram and he sings these two arias beautifully. Speaking from personal experience; that he not only sang and acted wonderfully but had a great stage presence in the role.
The main interest in this EP is that fact the Hermann Prey has signed the cover. It was collected outside the Bayreuth Theatre in 1965. He was delightful and posessed an easy smile which would have charmed the hardest of Wagnerian hearts.
Cover contains a commentary and texts in German

To avoid any dispute buyers should be aware that they buy our vinyl with the above proviso in mind.
