The film, 'Death in Venice' was dominated by the music of Gustav Mahler. This LP contains the complete movements of those excerpts used in the Visconti movie. The excellent performances are well known and, if you are not already 'into' Mahler, will open up this remarkable composer. Especially famous from the film is the 4th Movement of the 'Symphony No 5'. This is highly recommended as an introduction to Mahler's works.

To avoid any dispute buyers should be aware that they buy our vinyl with the above proviso in mind.
