Charles Mackerras
Charles Mackerras is one of those conductors who can turn his baton to anything and something special is produced. This LP is no exception. All the performances are top quality and the warm, close recording makes the music sing. The 1812 is not rushed but he certainly gives value for money as far as noise in concerned. We frequently return to this recording for its high musical value.

Our records have always been handled with care and stored correctly. However as we are disposing of our entire record collection, time precludes us playing every single item to check whether there are any faults that are not apparent from a purely visual check. To avoid any dispute buyers should be aware that they buy our vinyl with the above proviso in mind.
