Along with the 'English Songs' LP released on Saga, this collection of German Lieder is one of the two earliest recordings made by Janet Baker. As one would expect, the singing is wonderful and it is a must for all collectors of this famous singer - especially sounding so young and fresh. Saga pressings were very hit and miss but this copy isn’t too bad.
