On side 1 of this LP we have the lighter side of the heavy weight conductor Hans Knappertsbusch. A renowned interpreter of Wagner, Beethoven, Brahms and Bruckner, to name but a few, here he conducts Waltzes etc. by Johann Strauss. His interpretations are a real delight. Side 2 is devoted to the more familiar Boskovsky conducting with a straighter rendition of Strauss' music. Under both conductors, the Vienna Philharmonic play the music as if it were, and indeed is, in their blood.

Our records have always been handled with care and stored correctly. However as we are disposing of our entire record collection, time precludes us playing every single item to check whether there are any faults that are not apparent from a purely visual check. To avoid any dispute buyers should be aware that they buy our vinyl with the above proviso in mind.
